Petunia's Journal Me today! After I finished my first knitting work that wasn't a scarf! Thanks to my friend Michelle to has the patience of a saint to be a working mom and long-distance internet teacher! Hazelnut Crusted Pork Chop 1 cup hazelnuts, finely chopped 2 tsp parsley, chopped 2 tsp thyme, chopped 1 orange, zested 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 3 tbsp roasted hazelnut oil 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp honey 2 pork chops or pork loin chops Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix all the ingredients together (besides the pork chops) in a bowl and pour out onto a dinner plate. Press the pork chops into the crust making sure they are coated. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Yield: 2 servings. ouch. my cute shoes hurt my feet. Well they hurt while i was checking my email at home. I should have changed them, but am trying to hard to make an effort in my appearance. Right now, i'm in my socks with my feet under my desk. I have a feeling this will be the case for the whole day :) ![]() ![]() I saw this a few weeks ago by Giada De Laurentiis on her Giada At Home. I've been waiting for the best chance to make it. I did for Saturday dinner! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giad Words can not express how amazing it is to have this storage just feet away from my apartment. Especially after it was generously being stored at my sister in law's house. The husband and a friend moved it all yesterday. I took this photo at 8:15 this morning. Making me smile all day! ![]() Last night for dinner, we ate Turkey Larb which I saw Giada De Laureates make on her show a few weeks ago. We have a list of things we "wanna make" but this recipe didn't require a trip to the Asian market. It was exciting to use my wooden bowls and try from my bridal shower and wedding! Brian and I sat at the coffee table (me, sitting n the floor) and it was really nice. ![]() Here is Brian making a little "burrito." He got a little frustrated when it was falling apart in his hands. I found the whole thing to be cute. Tastes delic as leftovers too! I got my housekeeping reservations! I feel THIS happy again! |
